Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. Deleting your account is straightforward and you are always in control of your data.
What gets deleted
When you delete your Talqeen account, the following is permanently removed:
- Your account (name, email address, password)
- All learning progress across every stage and lesson
- All child profiles attached to your account
- All certificates earned
- Your subscription record (though billing must be cancelled separately — see below)
Account deletion cannot be undone. Once deleted, nothing can be restored — not your progress, not your child profiles, not your certificates. Please be certain before proceeding.
How to delete from the app
The quickest way to delete your account is directly from within the Talqeen app:

Open the app and go to your Profile
Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Tap "Settings"
Scroll to the bottom of your profile screen and tap the Settings icon.

Tap "Delete my account"
This option appears at the bottom of the Settings screen, beneath all other options.

Confirm deletion
You will be asked to type the word "DELETE" to confirm. This prevents accidental deletions.

Done
Your account is immediately deactivated and all data is queued for deletion within 30 days.
How to delete by email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
Send an email to
privacy@talqeen.ai with the subject line:
"Account deletion request"
Include the email address registered to your Talqeen account in the body of the email. We will process your request within 7 days and send a confirmation when complete.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your Talqeen account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. If you have an active paid subscription, you must cancel it separately through Google Play or the App Store — otherwise you may continue to be billed.
How to cancel your subscription:
- On Android: Open Google Play → tap your profile photo → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Talqeen → Cancel subscription.
- On iOS: Open Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Talqeen → Cancel Subscription.
Once cancelled, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that.
Data retention after deletion
After your account is deleted:
- All personal data (name, email, learning progress, child profiles, certificates) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Encrypted database backups containing your data are purged within the same 30-day window.
- Anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. "100 users completed Stage 3 this month" — with no individual identifiers) may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to you.
